• Optionally, enter your mobile phone number and an alternate email address for account verification and authorization. Google uses this information to protect your privacy and to allow you to recover a lost password.

• Type the characters in the captcha picture to prove you're not a robot.

• Select your country or location.

• Click Next Step.

• Examine Google's terms of service and the Gmail privacy policy and click I Agree.
